About the Show

Stand Up For The Truth

Amy Spreeman and Mike LeMay from our studio in Green Bay, Wisconsin

Hosts Mike LeMay and Amy Spreeman produce a one-hour live radio program to share the news of the day that affects our Christian faith. Listen in live each weekday from 9 – 10 a.m. CST at Q 90 FM on the radio, or streamed live online. Since December of 2010, we’ve been sharing opinions and issues that affect our Christian faith with a straight, no nonsense approach.

But it’s much more than a radio show. Stand Up For The Truth has become a platform for listeners locally and around the world to engage in this growing and thriving community–both on the air and online.

Read our Statement of Faith

We invite nationally renowned experts and leaders as guests to talk about trends and topics most others won’t touch: The Emergent Movement, New Age Christianity, Social Justice, Universalism in our churches and schools, and the blending of different faiths with Christianity that has quietly seeped into our beliefs without many Christians even being aware of it. These are just a few of the major issues that we believe we (and you) should be talking about!

Two points about this show that are a big deal: First, we don’t claim to have all the answers. We’re not biblical experts or theologians–we’re just two people passionate about God and His Church who happen to have microphones.  Second–and most importantly–we point you to the Word of God as the only authority on absolute Truth.

About Mike LeMay

Mike is the general manager of Q90 FM, a Christian music radio station in Title Town (Green Bay for you non-Packer fans), Wisconsin. The popular station ministers to people of all ages, with a special heart for youth. Mike’s vision for Stand Up For The Truth came about in the summer of 2010, when he needed to take a tough stand and pull out of sponsoring a popular youth event. Mike learned that doing what is right can often be unpopular and controversial!  But he knew that his station simply can’t sponsor events where speakers or ministries promote teachings contradictory to the gospel.

Mike spent his career leading from an office, and never behind a microphone – until now. He will tell you that he was among the many Christians who’ve been blissfully unaware of some of the false teachings creeping into our churches. But as the scales have come off one by one, Mike’s passion as a watchman on the wall is to help believers discern true from false teachings.  Stand Up For The Truth is about continuing that vision and mission.

Mike lives near Green Bay with his lovely wife Nancy, a tireless researcher for the show and devoted Christ follower who sometimes sits in the co-host chair when Amy is absent.
